Dacia Bigster is named Irish Medium SUV of the Year

It was dubbed one of the most hotly anticipated cars of 2025, and Dacia Bigster is continuing to make impact after being awarded Best Medium SUV for 2026 at the Motoring Media of Association of Ireland (MMAI) awards last week.
The Awards in association with Continental Tyres is voted for by members of the MMAI, the grouping that brings together some 29 of Ireland’s most experienced motoring journalists. The awards are voted on by the members of the MMAI who individually assess each new car model launched in Ireland each year.
Bigster is also one of seven models shortlisted for the 2026 European Car of the Year which will be announced in early January 2026.
The smart value proposition, Bigster priced from €29,995 with a three-year warranty, illustrates Dacia’s essential promise: to make the essentials accessible, without compromising on robustness, safety or technology.
