Renault Groupe Still Strong in Offaly
Although we are currently entering the dead zone for car sales as we look forward to the New Year and new 171 registration plates, new cars are still sold and the Renault Groupe has once again proved to be a desirable brand for the people of Offaly with 23.08% of the new vehicles old in Offaly belonged to the Renault Groupe.
According to the SIMI released figures the Kadjar has proved to be the most popular vehicle in the Renault Group for the month of October. The all new Renault Megane was the second most popular and I believe sales of the Megane will rocket in the New Year as the Grand Tourer and Grand Coupe versions will be released. This is something that customers know and have been waiting till January to order their new vehicles instead of buying the current model and is a trend that sees new car sales slowdown in the final quarter of the year for all dealerships.
Dacia sales however have stayed steady and this will have to do with their ethos of being an affordable brand, part of this ethos involves spending little amounts on advertising so not too many customers will know of the face lifted Dacia vehicles that will arrive in January. The new models are the Logan, Sandero and Sandero Stepway and they will display a new lighting signature front and rear for an even more dynamic, contemporary look meanwhile the design of the front and rear bumpers has been reworked to emphasise the models’ muscular stance. They will all come with a new chrome grill while their interior has been completely revamped to give it a more premium look and feel to it.
It isn’t just Dacia that will have face lifted models for the New Year as Renault will release their face lifted version of the Clio while we are really looking forward to getting the new Renault Scenic to accompany the two new Meganes. This promises to be an exciting year ahead for the Renault Groupe with these new and updated models due to be in our showrooms shortly as well as the new Renault Koleos due sometime in the second half of the year.
So although car sales have, expectedly, slowed down as we come to the end of the year we have a promising new year ahead of us with lots of models getting a face lift while we will also be releasing some new models too
